Our original plans had changed and my wife like the sound of this. What a lovely little restaurant. Small but not too close to each other. Service was great and the food was amazing. Definitely worth getting a table if you are nearby.
We've eaten here several times, and today's Sunday Lunch was the best (as always). George and the team are so friendly. They are great with our toddler too, who also loves the food. Lovely setting and atmosphere. Great for families and couples. Can't recommend this place enough! Best Yorkshire Puddings too!
A lovely and friendly welcome, and we had a table in the window too. Couldn't fault the food and the starters were delicious, especially my wife's salmon and créme cheese . The roasts were superb, with plenty of veg and gravy. The meal was rounded-off with a lovely baked cheesecake. Great to support a local business .
Was pretty excited to come here after seeing so many great reviews. Food was nice, the mains were gorgeous. Chef is lovely and asked how we found the food, clearly is very talented. The brownie dessert was heated up but possibly too long as it was quite chewy and tough suggesting it’s been over heated. Let down by the service front of house sadly, didn’t feel very welcomed or very friendly and I felt uncomfortable at times. Not sure if it was just an ‘off’ night.
First experience for us here today for Sunday lunch...absolutely first class! Food was excellent, especially the Yorkshire puddings! Service & atmosphere was fab, lovely background music. Will be definitely return & recommend to family & friends! Thank you for a great lunch
